Pacific Championship: Tonga's Target & Chaos Follows Ipape

The Pacific Championship is underway, and Tonga has an advantage by playing their opener in Week 2.

International Rugby League is going from strength to strength. Despite the player movement being a bit difficult to keep track of right now and rubbing some people up the wrong way, it’s for the best in the long term.

Tonga’s Target

This week, I want to somewhat review Samoa’s left edge defence in their loss to the Kiwis, with a preview element of what might be to come against Tonga.

Casey McLean became a human highlight reel with his two tries on Sunday. His second ended up as a show of strength I didn’t know he had in him. However, it’s in the opportunities the Kiwis didn’t capitalise on that I think might appeal to Tonga.
