New South Wales’ Key To Victory

The Right To Score

There isn’t much to be said about the New South Wales Blues attack through two games.

They offered little until playing with an extra man in Game 1. An error from the kickoff gifted them a try in Game 2 before they scored another in garbage time. However, digging through the games and in searching for opportunities to improve, I expect the Blues to look to their right edge. It’s their most dangerous edge with James Tedesco floating to link up with Stephen Crichton and Mark Nawaqanitawase.

Nawaqanitawase scored an excellent try in Game 2 which offers some insight into their most dangerous actions:

They asked “how has he scored that?!?” in commentary. A question we’ve all asked plenty of times already throughout Nawaqanitawase’s brief but brilliant rugby league career. His no-try earlier in the match helps to answer that question while also preparing for Game 3.
