State of Origin: Breaking Down A Classic Game 3
The Queensland Maroons have only gone and done it again, upsetting the New South Wales Blues to clinch the 2025 State of Origin series.
Game 3 feels like classic State of Origin.

And classic it was…
The meme-worthy “we’re Queenslander” quotes were something different for this series. Taking a game to land on the squad, excluding later injuries, is fairly un-Queensland-like. However, in the end, the result resembled many we’ve seen in the past.
The Maroons side did it as a group through their constant linespeed and scramble in defence, push around the ball in attack, and unwavering kick chase to end their sets. Slater’s group did it as one while the Blues appeared to go off in their own direction.
